Our favourite & one of the best events in newcastle. a wonderful day out with full-size, miniature, model & stationary steam locomotives. full-size & miniature steam locomotive rides. vintage cars, lorries & tractors. a wonderful day out for anyone-except pets.
Excellent display of steam engines and generators. car show was a hit for the family too. well worth a visit! i'll be making it an annual event.
For many years i have attended steamfest in maitland, and if you like steam trains, traction engines or anything steam, this is the place to go. not only steam on display though there is a huge car show will blow your socks off. food is very much fast food and hot dogs but, there are plenty of outlets for that too.
